About the Thomasina Williams Memorial Scholarship

The Thomasina Williams Memorial Scholarship Award honors the memory and legacy of our co-founder, Thomasina Williams. This scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding Staten Island graduating seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a commitment to excellence.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be of African American descent
• Must be a 2026 Staten Island, New York graduating senior
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 (C+) with verified high school transcript
• Must have college acceptance letter
• Two letters of recommendation required
